They are showing the entire collection in a history channel documentary right now. I saw it yesterday. I have seen it before but I never tire of looking at these amazing cars and his even more amazing collection. Ralph Lauren collects only the best of the best and the rarest of the rare

I am sure there are collections with more cars but very few with cars as rare or as significant

Indeed, Ralph got exquisite taste with the money to back it up

The Type 57SC Atlantic is the most exclusive, most expansive and one of the rarest car in the world, only 3 out of 4 still exist and 1 out of the 3 is totally rebuilt/recreated from the ground up since it was totally destroyed a long time ago. So the Atlantic Ralph owns is one of two original. So yes his collection is probably the world most exquisite.

Sure the Sultan of Brunei owns 5000 cars, but most of his cars are not that exclusive and a lot of them are neglected and is in pretty bad shape. Every single car Ralph owns is in extremely perfect running condition. The Sultan got more money, but Ralph got better taste.

I give 2 thumbs up for Ralph

The only man I know that can challenge Ralph for automotive taste is James Glickenhaus since he got the 1 of 1 coach built perfect P4/5.

Actually Jay Leno got the same highest level of automotive taste as Ralph, but he doesn't have that kind of cash. The Type 57SC Atlantic he got is a rebodied replica and he only got a regular Mclaren F1 instead of the 1 of 5 LM that Ralph got.
