The wheels are probably the best part about this car, they're gorgeous.

Too bad they will probably be the first to go on the way to production :/

I'd have to say it looks interesting, but not super pretty nor sporty. I see a lot of last gen 5-series with the side profile and decklid. The new front grille is also a rip on Audi's and Mitsubishi's gaping mouth. Hope they tone that down a bit. As everyone else has said, the interior looks very promising.
Note: the tach is straight out of the ES.
We shall see...

Those wheels are beautiful

I actually hope Lexus does something like the hour glass-shape grill, though many have not been so happy about the idea. I think that, if done right, it could be very unique and attractive.

I've said for a long time that every Japanese manufacturer seems to use the same design cues, Lexus just seems to do them right. I'd like to see them venture past that.

Does this mean Lexus will get the analog clocks in their interiors like Infiniti?

Interior does look very nice. I find it to be a gigantic upgrade over the already great looking current interiors. However I will say I was instantly reminded of the new BMW 5 and 7 interiors with the aluminum trim underlining the wood trim.

Those wheels above are sexy as hell!

This looks like a stretched IS-F (see the hood from the side profile) wit the LS' *** stuck to it. The back decklid and trunk reminds me a bit of the Civic.

Nice PS....Looking at the press release this isn't just about the GS but future design cues for all Lexus...GS/ES/IS/LS all debut in the next 2-3 years as well as other products.

What is interesting is the they mention the dash is drivers oriented, which I hope really means the focused on the GS drive as has been rumored.

Curious to see how the new hybrid does but I have to say I really hope a GS F comes.

Again if the regular Lexus models keep a more staid grlll and the F models gain this larger grill I think that would be a good move.

Again I'm not in love with it but I look forward to seeing the production version.

looks all right... interesting enough but question is what happens with 17" wheels and toned down details... baby LS?

Interior looks super! Seems like continuation of CT theme, just to the another level.

I wonder what the engine lineup will be. That will make or break the car before it even hits the showroom.

I think the only "concept" ishness of the thing is the front grille.

I'd say the rest of the car is basically ready for production, just unsure if the creases and cuts in the front and rear bumpers will be still there.

I'm not ecstatic about it, but a lot of cars these days I'm not really impressed by the pictures--but I think a lot of car design these days doesn't translate well into images.

Agree. The grille alone was reason enough for me to not consider an Audi. If this makes it over to the IS, then I would definitely change brands for the next car.

Here is a pic of a new CT with the "spindle" shape in the front bumper but with a traditional grill up top and air vent below. In person its a pretty obvious design. I assume Lexus will keep that shape and not go with the gaping grill on the concept ala Audi. But who knows.

Lexus is called bland for the CT version of it and called crazy/ugly for the concept version of it.
