It's the normal ebb and flow of the new car business. In addition to the popular Enclave, they have two new models that are selling well (LaCrosse & Regal). Eventually other hot selling new models will take their place.

It's good to see Buick doing well. The competition is good.

At least for a few months, showing the value of new/improved product offerings (specifically Lacrosse, Enclave and Regal in that order) combined with competitive pricing/discounting/subsidized financing. Of course long term trends are still TBD. And Lexus being tier 1 lux probably concerns itself more with Mercedes and BMW as the main competitors.

they have 3 cars under 27k basically.. why not? i like those new opels, look sophisticated. Although I would not compare them to Lexus, they are more like Acura, which doesn't diminish their success.

It's hard to believe with just 4 models. I have yet to even see a new Regal on the road.
Barely ever see a Lucern and they've been out about 5 years. The Enclave isn't a common sight either. The Lacrosse is starting to build up a bit but I still don't see many.

Either way, they're not really Lexus competition anyway. If anything, their models overlap Lexus entry level offerings - ES/RX. That's it.

Well considering the position the economy is in I wouldn't be supreised. McDonald's is cheaper than Outback steakhouse. Doesn't make them better, juss means people are broke Imo.............

In this economy, Buick is a better value than Lexus. The Japanese Luxury brands are no longer the bargains they used to be.

avg transaction price of buick is 38k. more than acura and only 4k less than lexus. so it's really not about the price.

IMO, i think american patriotism is back. finally american cars are competitive. i think it's a good sign.

Yes, that makes a difference for casual observers in local areas. The US sales stats are best for comparison purposes.
