yeah we all have different tastes but that takes some talent, and you wouldn't be the first or last to swap a 2jzge into something. I have one going in my pickup later this year, great motor for lighter cars in just n/a form.

and yes, I would totally rock that 240 at the track, and people don't realize its counter productive to put an expensive paint job on a drift car that you throw around alot.. the sport of drifting is expensive, tires, maintanence, breaking things.. plasti dip it and grip it and rip it as long as the clutch is good and the ebrake is working there is alot of fun to be had out there!! keep it up.

All the hate in the "car scene" is despicable.

Big effin deal its a Nissan. You all bagging on this dude are what hurts this car enthusiast culture. I deal with tons of guys that drive EVERYTHING, and I dont hate on em. The CO car scene is full of Hondas and other not so sick cars. TO EACH THEIR OWN.

Have an opinion, by all means. BUT shut your damn mouth when it come to bagging on people cars. You can say you dont like it, or whatever... but get over yourselves.

We're getting a little off topic, If OP wants to put a Toyota engine in the 240 well then that's fine. The 2JZGE is a solid choice.

Yea. I made that title 2.5 years ago. Regardless, there really isn't anything to hate.
It's a light car, with a reliable motor that is low cost, doing what I set it up to do which is drifting.
That's like hating the grass for growing. lol
This car has been so inexpensive to maintain and take to events.
I swapped the motor with another 2jzge from a JDM supra that had 35k miles. Parted out the old tired one, and it covered the expense of the new one.
You just can't beat it.
