One can argue that for the same class and catagory of cars, in this case full size flagship luxury cars, they all have very similar design. But the above 4 looks almost identical!

The Audi, BMW and Jaguar all look way different:

2011 Audi A8:

2009 BMW 750i:

2011 Jaguar XJ:

The worst is that Bentley, it is a Series 51, so it is suppose to be a bespoke, custom, exclusive, individualistic crazy special trim package. But the special wheel still look the same as every other wheels on much cheaper cars

Like for example the Lamborghini Reventon got an extremely unique and special wheel. Maybe it needs to be a million dollar car in order to have a special looking wheel now a days?

You are right Lexusman!

I guess the thickness of the spoke is a little different, but same shape overall!

My thread on how they ripped the GSh. What makes it worse for a GS owner is not only is the wheel ripped off but the entire car design is.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...initi-g37.html

I really am not fond of what they did, I can't go 10 feet now without confusing the 3GS with a G37

No joke recently I saw a black Jag XF which we all know took 3GS styling cues and it had a set of tri-spoke wheels as well!

I mean its one thing to take a similar profile from the GS but damn the wheels too? Is nothing sacred.

07-09 GS 450h wheel

New 2010 Infiniti G37 optional wheel

Dunnojack brought it up here

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...-2010-xfr.html

2009/2010 Jaguar XF optional wheels

I much prefer the XF styling to the G37 and I think the XF does look good but damn, the wheels too! Funny but Ian Callum the designer of the XF has been asked in mag interviews about how the XF looks like the Lexus GS.

Top Gear even had a small article on a long term XF they had where they brought a 450h to compare the two.

I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but damn, I guess I need wheels?
