That's why I never go up there or Angeles Crest anymore. When I worked on car commercials we would get a film permit & have to hire CHP to come out & shut down the road while filming.

I nevert go Sunday mornings anymore. Too many stupid riders and too many cops.

I'll pull it off on a really cold Saturday morning where no other SoCal'er will brave chilly riding. Less people on the road. Cops are usually there Saturday nights and Sunday mornings.

It's always funny to me how sensitive Cali people are to the cold . I think what's considered cold by SoCal standards I would find quite warm lol.

I have a problem with that second Miata video. The cop turned on his lights before the Miata even turned the corner. Sure, the Miata ended up overcooking it, but the fact is if the Miata took that turn like a normal human being the cop was ready to pounce on him regardless.

turn up your speakers... the miata was squealing on the tires already, the cop had the window down. and i am pretty sure that's quite a bit speeding too (don't know how radar works on turns)
