Cut costs? for a halo car? Why all of the excuses? I'm pretty sure LFA wasted a lot time and money by switching from aluminum to carbon fiber midway during its development and yet its still able to make it to production. The idea is that the LFA was to be the best it could be. However, the LFA had no budget or timetable. I think Honda needs to work on its current lineup before it can bring a supercar to production.

Imagine a flip flopped Camry made to be the LFA with the LS 600h engine. Lame

All you have to do is reverse the cam drive (which should also reverse the direction of the distributor, if so equipped), or grind a special mirror-image cam to run the engine in reverse.

As for that rear-wheel steering, it's not a problem - just call it a "feature". Any good high-school welding shop can adjust the length of the pan, then glue on an old kit body by Devin you can find lying around the garage, and fire it up.

Well, did Honda actually say it was going to be based off an Accord chassis, or did they say their Global Platform on which the Accord is also based on? Makes a difference IMHO since the Global Platform was created and designed not for a specific vehicle but to be easily modified to fit a wide range of their current and future vehicle chassis.

Either way though I personally would like to see a mid engine NSX only. It can be a hybrid, but the engine has to be in the right place and no GT car.

Although, technically this hybrid sports car concept does fit the NS-X code name criteria since it could be considered an "Experimental" Sports Car design.

PS. All said and done though I'd just as rather buy a used 2005 NSX anyway.

So a flipped Ridgeline chassis? Probably with a 3.7 V-6 and IMA good for the most powerful EVA at 311hp

of course that's the race version, but that was the NSX replacement. This news is b.s.

I still don't understand Honda's obsession with the V6.
