Spolier C&D; 2010 Acura TSX V6 vs. 2011 Buick Regal CXL Turbo, 2010 Volkswagen CC 2.0
The CC has fared well against Acura's it barely lost to the TL SHAWD in R&T and it beats the TSX V-6 here with an I-4.

1.) CC
Highs, Lows, and Verdict
Highs: Precise steering, perfect seats, cosmopolitan styling inside and out.
Lows: Restricted sightlines, only four seats, occasional shivers in the platform.
The Verdict: A “four-door coupe” with the grace and agility of a ballerina.
2. TSX
Highs: Right-now power, aggressive “sport” transmission mode, Honda quality.
Lows: Feels bigger and heavier than it is, happier on interstates than in the hills.
The Verdict: Fast in a straight line but lacking the reflexes we expected.
3. Regal CXL Turbo
Highs: Light steering, great styling, blend of interesting cabin surfaces.
Lows: Too heavy, a gritty powertrain, relentlessly reminds that it’s a four-banger.
The Verdict: All the right stuff is there; it just needs some finessing.

IMO the Regal looks great in the picture, but this is the 2nd or 3rd review that points out the engine is the weak link. Maybe the turbo will be better.
Nice overall review on the CC.

I wonder why the CC 2.0T motor isn't the 211hp / 258lb-ft tq version...........?
(and the wonderful 2.0T isn't even available on the 11 Jetta!??!?!?!?!)
+1, but I'd like to see slightly revised headlights (projectors) and tails on the CC tho...

I think only certain versions of the CC look good. After I sat in the CC, I was over it. It didn't do anything for me. Although, the regal looks decent, I could never see me driving one. I really like the TSX and those wheels makes it look even better. I'd definitely take the TSX over the CC and Regal.

Truth. No way I buy a TSX over a G35 as they are too close in price range. Too bad Honda didn't just put in a high performance I4 like in the si or s2000.

It's sad that GM uses a crude/coarse/unrefined 4 banger (not to mention somewhat sluggish when used in such a fat/heavy car) in the Regal, they should know better.

I wonder who is actually buying the Regal. Is Buick getting the younger buyer into their showrooms? I haven't noticed any on the streets around here, but seeing a lot of the LaCrosse.

Amazing that you can lease a V-6 TSX for $20 a month less than a CC. The Regal deal is not very competitive.
