You know that saying about Italian craftsmanship with movable parts? :D

At least it was enjoyable while it lasted

i dont see what everyone is so concerned or saddened by?

i mean, isnt part of the italian car experience (not even a supercar trait this) that fleeting sense of danger and the thrill of making a journey in your car, getting out and realizing you HAVEN'T just spontaneously burst into flames? :D

you can salvage those wheels and buff them out.

Hoovey689 Aug 1, 2010 02:22 AM

What a shame. Poor car. Is there a problem with 458's? The car's new on the market and there's two of them that went up in flames.

I wonder why they put the remains in the parking lot like that?? It's not like it's a regular car where you can pick up the burnt out shell in one piece and move it. That just looks like one big pile of ash with a wheel.

Looks like someone needed to tick off that "fire extinguisher" box on the order form.
