Thing with "familiar" look is that if you have a nice look, that's fine. If you have a stinker, that's a killer. Just look at Acura and their currently styling queue. Overall negative by consumers so you've shot your foot ACROSS THE WHOLE lineup, rather than a few models.

Although not bad, the Camry look I don't think translate that well across the Sienna and Yaris. The S,M,L,XL philosophy I personally do not like. It's the lazy companies way to design.

I'll judge the results when I see them.

Just for fun, I'll throw in the 2007 Camry was said to mimick the trunklid of the then current BMW 7-series. Beyond that, I don't think there has been much copying done with the company. Although the new tC's squared off A-pillar definitely follows some very trendy sport's car styling already out there (Z, GTR, etc).

Yes (agreed) it does, and the Camry of that year actually looks better than the 7 series of that year too., which is why the 7 series had multiple face lifts (or should I say butt lifts).

wait... you mean Vibrant Clarity wasn't the design phlisophy? You have the same bulbous nose on the Camry as you do on the Yaris. I think the only one exempt was the Avalon which had a rather flat front bumper/grille.
