very cool but not the first I have seen. Although the grey one does look nicer. Thanks for sharing

Never been a fan of the 430, but that's actually really cool. Props

I totally can't imagine doing any drifting in this car.

Very cool what they've done

If I could afford a 430 for drifting, I would sport it. Thumbs up.

I wonder what transmission it's using.

I8ABMR Jul 12, 2010 06:23 AM

I am surprised they didnt use the 2JZ like they always do. In this cars the power plant and the platform are a little unique

vwynn Jul 12, 2010 01:52 PM

lil sad that they didnt include the car audio :/ i really wanted to hear the engine n exhaust note lol

Drift competitions are nothing new for Lexus. Back when they were sponsoring Team Lexus, a few years back, they had drift cars then. This is one of them. Their drift car was giving NELOC a small demonstration in the parking lot behind their building in Baltimore a few years ago.

Lexus stopped sponsorship and dis-banded Team Lexus a few years back,, heaven only knows where the cars are now. I do know that they were sold off.

Wow it looks great! Love everything about it down to the still functional convertible hardtop. Good to see Clark too! I haven't seen him in over half a year.

And Ryan, this is jordan from shirakiphoto. I met you at SEMA and I was the lexus photographer. I just started posting (here & here) on clublexus and have been thoroughly enjoying my stay. Its by far the warmest welcome and best reception I've received out of any forum so far. I'm glad to be a part of the community.
