Forza 2 is not as crisp as Forza 3. Lets wait & see is the same holds true when comparing GT5 Prologue & GT5. I say it will be the same ish when it comes to the two GT games

GT5 will have over 1000 cars, Forza 3 with all it's car packs isn't even 60% of that. GT is on another level than other racing games. The quality the feel, the noise, the tracks, everything about GT gives you a different experience, it gives you an atmosphere no other driving game can match. All GT games are beautiful.

I take it you agree! Forza is ok, but GT is great, all GT games are.

Default Karting comes to Gran Turismo 5

http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/19/v...ran-turismo-5/

Despite our best efforts, we're getting pretty excited about the arrival of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5. After suffering through years of the company (and the interwebs at large) crying wolf with launch dates, it appears as if we may finally have the game in our hands by the end of this year. There's also some word that the release will coincide with the second coming of various deities. By now, chances are you've heard all about the new race modes available with the next chapter in the simulator franchise, including the addition of NASCAR, but here's one that took us by surprise.

A video has just recently cropped up on YouTube showing what appears to be a kart race in GT5. We haven't heard one way or the other whether we'll be able to slide a shifter through the corners of our favorite Gran Turismo tracks or if this was just some sort of one-off ditty built for a demonstration. That doesn't stop us from hoping for the former, though.

It'll have Karts, and some will be more powerful than others. I follow GTplanet.net and they've got some handy details about the game from the Gamescon show going on in Germany as we speak. If anyone remembers in GT1 and GT2 you were able to transform your car to a race machine. That feature is brought back in GT5. So you might be able to transform your Z06 or ZR1 into an ALMS racer! That's what I'm looking forward to most of all. Not only that but the upgrades are much more detailed now. The options to install carbon fiber hoods and other body parts is just the start! This will truly be the greatest racing game ever.

Does anyone know if the Signature Edition (or something like it) that is available in the Europe/Australian markets is going to be released in the US? I know we already have the Collector's Edition, but the Signature slots above it.

Looks like it's delayed again until the "holiday season".

Ugh. I really wished they'd released GT HD just to give us something to tinker with in the meantime.

Man
Forza (even Forza 3) won't be able to even lay a finger on this epic racing game

Three weeks! I just bought myself a Logitech Driving wheel for the occasion.

Edit: Wow just heard the news, disappointing but not surprising.
