Just the Facts:
Two years ahead of launch, IL offers an early look at the 2013 BMW 3 Series.
New 3 Series lineup comprises five models, including a new two-door hatch.
Turbocharged four-cylinder engines will replace the current straight 6s.

I hope that turbo 4's replace the base 6. Though they will be inline. I'm not sure why BMW prides itself on inline 6's. Horizontal, though more difficult to service, is better.

Front end is ugly as sin and just like acura's beak the kidneys are all way to big.

Side profile looks like an early 2000s Peugeot, esp. the rear quarter. Seems smaller than the E90 too.

I happen to like guinea pigs (had a few when I was younger) so those pics actually made me like it a bit
The front looks like the 5 series sucked on a lemon.

the rear looks exactly the same except for the exhausts...but the front isnt too bad.
