I just ordered a set of winter tires - Firestone Winterforce. I'm now having some second thoughts as many say they are inferior to Bridgestone Blizzaks. However the thread on the Blizzaks doesn't look to be anywhere near as aggressive as the winterforces, and I'm very sceptical about it.

Did I make a mistake by choosing Winterforce? I can still cancel the order and order Blizzak instead.




Now to the second part of my question. The winterforces are studdable, and I don't know whether I should stud them. I dont know if NY allows studs, but the chances of getting caught are slim, so I'm willing to take that risk. On the other hand, most of my driving is in NYC, and most roads are cleaned, so I dont know how bad the road noise might be at 60mph on dry pavement.



And last part of my question, do 16" rims from a 1st gen LS400 fit 3rd gen GS430? I know they fit the 2nd gen GS430 with no issues.
