M/T Top Ten Driving Cars
I just saw this on autoblog and wanted to know what people thought
http://www.motortrend.com/features/p...car/index.html
10. Camaro SS
9. 135i
8. XFR
7. Nismo 370Z
6. ZR-1
5. Gt 500
4. CTS-V
3. MX-5
2. R8
1. Cayman S
I thought it was interesting there was no Exige or Elise in the test

The Elise (and presumably the Exige) is simply too small a car for even an average American-sized adult. It is almost impossible to get in and out of one. I am 6' 2"", 265 lb. (somewhat larger than average), and you should have seen me trying to shoehorn myself into a tiny Elise when I reviewed one in August of '07. The salesman laughed, and didn't think I could do it. It took me some time, and some pretzel-like gyrations, but I did......and I even managed to drive it. (Don't even ask me how I got OUT) But I would never consider buying one.

Never mind Clarksen. Have YOU seen an Elise...or tried to get in or out? If not, you can't really imagine just how small.....and cramped......the car is. Its mid-engine design makes it even more cramped inside.

No 911 GT3RS???? No Lotus exige sc???? Did they really put the camaro and GT500 on the list????
When you read this realize that this list is a list based on a persons subjective opinion. I know I know better than to believe a car with a suspension set up as primitive as the set up on the Mustang and the Camaro could be a drivers car.
Well I guess if the driver is a qtr mile driver and that race is in a straight line, and even then the mustang and camarro will just hop the rear tires until the thing car can overcome its faulty design and it grips.
