2010 Audi A8
Look at the grille. That is an inverted Mitsubuishi logo, not an Audi.
We have to assume that's not the next-generation Galant or a return of the Diamante. (If Mitsu doesn't leave the American market). But, if that's a prototype new Audi (I assume undergong A/C and cooling-system testing there in the AZ-NM desert heat), I can't see it using a Mitsu logo, even to try and disguise it, for liability reasons.

of course that's an audi.
Damn that looks like an A4 LWB.
and the A8 is an A4 XLWB.
upside down logo is perfectly legal. it is different from the true mitsu logo.
just like backwards lexus logo is legal too.

I agree, but the grille looked questionable, that's all. In fact, it like a lot like an Evo/Ralliart grille.
OK....that I didn't know it was legal. But I'll take your word for it.
Disguised new models in extreme-climate areas like the desert Southwest or Northern Canada/Alaska are often undergoing component testing in high or low temperatures.

Wow, that's a pretty aggressive looking front end there. It doesn't look half bad and it'll probably grow on me, but i still like the previous A8 a little more.
Like MPLexus had said, the older one was already, IMO, clean/elegant/and breathtaking. From sitting in traffic and having plenty of time to look at the previous one, it's difficult for me to accept the 2010 so quickly, but i'm sure my mind will change when i see it on the road.

Since I can't post pics from LeftLaneNews at work...

Overall, I am not too impressed with that. Looks almost exactly like the $30,000 A4. I hope the front end is significantly different from an A4 or A6 because the rest of the car looks way too "cookie cutter" for a flagship, IMO.

I'm just not seeing a Mitsu logo, there.
Hmm,, not liking it at all. I always thought the A8 had a very high elegance stance to it, like the current gen, and this one seems to lose alot of that. It, pretty much, just seems to blend in with the rest fo their current models with the stance, slope, and the LED strip trend that Audi is on. It doesn't look bad, however if I were choosing between the current gen and this new one, I would choose the current one.
