That's funny, the Mercury brand doesn't exist in Canada...yet the car is assembled here.

I couldn't find the part of the article that lists the U.S.-built vehicles.....it seems to be only those from Canada and Mexico.

That's not unusual. For example, the Lexus brand didn't exist in Japan until a couple of years ago, yet most, if not all, Lexus-badged vehicles are asembled there. Same, to an extent, with Acura and Infiniti.

Wonder how many unionized plants the foreign scab outfits have here. You have Toyota/GM in Fremont, CA. You've got them back in Japan and Germany. Not in the heart of GOP country. Real interesting.

The TL and RDX is also made in Marysville and East Liberty, OH respectively. The Pilot and RidgeLine are both made in Lincoln, AL but were made in Canada earlier. The Sienna was made in Georgetown, KY but it's been made in Princeton, IN since 2003. ML is built in Vance, AL.

Yes--but Mercury is an historic brand. Acura, Infiniti and Lexus are the newer brands, created with USA consumers in mind.

As a trucker, my company used to haul parts for alot of these automakers. These assembly plants are HUGE. The Mercedes plant in Vance, AL is pretty much a small city itself.
