Houston TX Car Chase

So I am wondering is this an IS? An Lancer? Mazda 6? cant quite tell with the bumpers gone and the camera angle. Crazy Driving....

Looks like an 8th Gen Accord to me (2008+).

That cop should have really let up on the brakes before impact to get the bumpers to level up.

Yeah it was amazing to see the police car lose traction so quickly and lose the back end. I hope the officer is ok.

8th Gen accord huh..... The rear lights are kinda making me think not. They look pretty narrow and the main trunk does not quite look like the accord. You may be right with all the damage.

I thought it was funny watching the cars getting off the freeway going backwards on the entrance ramp towards the end of the video...

The interior video showed that the side airbags as well as the main ones had gone off... this guy might have been dead if it were 20 years ago...

I found the details on the police. Seems like no one was seriously hurt. Pretty stupid.... 25 years old and probably going to be in jail for quite a while.

FWIW, American cops should be in Chargers and G8s IMO. Day of the crown vic is over.

Most cops in my area are in Magnums and Chargers.

damn....it says he cut an officer with a box cutter when they pulled him from the car....freakin nut.

upon closer review -- it looks like we won't have to see/hear "quannel x" (or whatever the hell his name is) whine this time around....nuff said.
