Lexus Loaners
Another example of things getting tight, me thinks.
Yeah, they started pushing the gas fill-ups around here, too.
If the loaner perk disappears, it's a major loss in my opinion. If the other manufacturers / dealers drop loaners, it'll be easier for Lexus to follow-suit. However, one could (should?!) argue that it makes their loaner service that much more of an incentive to buy from them.

I see you are in PA--if you are in the SE area, I can tell you from personal experiance that Chester Springs (IS's, ES's and RX's) and Thompson (RX's) have a big fleet of Lexus loaners. Chester Springs will even let me specify which of those 3 I want. I know Wilkie customers that have received a Lexus loaner too. I had an '09 RX from Chester Springs last week--they came to my office and dropped it off. The work wasn't done by the end of the day, and they told me to keep it overnight.
That's the exact line I was told when I made both of my purchases but from '02 to '06 driving the IS and GX I never received a Lexus loaner from Seattle or Bellevue even when we had scheduled one.
What's the deal with the Lexus Loaners? I never get one. They always put me in an enterprise rental even though I request a loaner. I'm driving a Chevy Aveo today while my GX is in for warranty work - yes, a Chevy Aveo.
I've gotten a Lexus loaner only one time and that was back in 2005. I even switched dealers, today was my first time at the new one and they still put me in an Enterprise rental. What gives? Is it because I usually drop my car off around 9am and all the loaners are gone? I could see that happening on a busy Saturday but today is Tuesday. What gives?

It worked b/c she ended up trading that 3 and leasing the 7.
Back on topic, I call my dealer and check to see if loaners are available and have always gotten one.
Don't feel bad. I've gotten a "C"avalier when I took my old s class for service....and this is the place that I bought it from
2nd time around, I just told them to pick me up and drop me off.
Seattle uses enterprise too. After we specifically requested a loaner which they confirmed, they tried to give my wife a mini van rental from enterprise. She said f-you and left and that was it for us at Seattle.
