Yes, that GT-R will continue working as a car. Functionality? Yes, the GT-R's main purpose is being at a racetrack, and I bet you these new wheels are NOT lighter than the stock ones. Anyway, these wheels may be good for a different car but not for a GT-R.

Taste and preferences can be debated but purity and functionality?? You sound like one of those old Ferrari owners.

I'm sure...actuall I'm positive the slight weight difference isn't enough to effect the speed.

It's the look of these wheels that's bothering me. I love 5-spoke wheels but these are the most unacceptible looking 5-spokers I have ever seen on a sport car. I saw these wheels in big 22 in chrome on a Benz S, didn't look great but looked alright. They aren't working on this car.

GTR looks good, rims look like generic though.

I think this was a bad attempt at a non-sponsored advertisement here on CL.

Not feeling the wheels. Can't complain too much with a Gtr though.

+1. It definitely looks different, but I can't say that it looks better.

I like the fact you can see the huge brakes through the rims. That said the GT-R is very slab sided and heavy, so it needs a big face wheel to compliment it. Thin spokes won't match well.

That said we have seen far worse.

Those rims are nasty, I bet it the GTR is slower with those rims on. I would never put rims like that on my GTR. HRE monoblocks FTW.

Hmmmm.... I'm sure those are no "economy wheels" by any stretch. That finish makes them appear soiled/dirty though? Like they just ran through some water. And the spoke design is... uhhmmm...

It's the color matched lip. It makes those rims look like fake 3 piece Axis rims...

+1, we've had some other issues with this specific vendor.

Rob, please get your buddy to sign up to sponsor the forum if they want to advertise here.
