So since I'll have the Lexus down over the winter....
 

I decided to buy a 1996 Volvo 850 T-5R for the winter. Still having problems getting the Pacifica from the body shop, so this is a good car to get.


I'll be doing a gated shifter swap, gauge conversion, front end redo and assorted other things.


Still not a Lexus...but hey...Volvo's are solid cars.

I thought the t5-r was a 95.

I had a 96 850r wagon. Solid car but it had too many visits to the Volvo specialist for ticky tack repairs.

The upper motor mounts go repeatedly.

It was hilarious how that wagon would eat mid 90s BMW 5 series cars on the highway.

Timing job was done 20k miles ago. Mounts are in good shape. Very very quiet and solid car.
