Check out that aggressive pricing on the SS.

That means you can get a 400hp SS version for under $30 grand

Yipee! Looks like i'm going back to my roots.. GM finally did it!

Official Numbers

V6 - 300 HP
6.2 V8 - 416 HP
Top model 6.2 V8 - 422 HP

But SS w/ V8 manual is 3860 lbs and auto 3913 lbs (Fat Pigs!)
Even the Base V6 with auto is 3750 lbs..

I guess if you want one - you would have to put up with it being a Pig..but decked out with 422 HP should be fun!

At those prices, it makes me REALLY confused to spend $10K more on a Challenger SRT-8.

Looks interesting. Never a Camaro fan as a child but I'm glad to see it resurrected. It's good for Chevy and American car fans. Overall I'm glad to see U.S. Automakers shifting the focus back to cars again!! They've got a way to go but it starts one car at a time........Personally I'd cop a Challenger too, if I was looking domestic.

I too am considering this for my next car in the spring. Right now most dealers are getting $5k or more over MSRP, but I think that will be short lived with the crap economy and tightening credit standards. I will also be driving the new Z, come on spring!
