If the IS coupe will only be in hard top convertible form, they might as well just pull the back seats out to save weight and call it an SC cuz they're already very tight.

more hybrids!!!

1) use of lithium Ion batteries and bringing them faster into the market
2) more leather colors
3) more separation from TOYOTA models
4) no more FWD for the ES

Lexus should offer more models to compete in the global market and right here in the states. The bread & butter IS, ES, GS, RX, GX, LX will not cut it for too long.. Same cookie cutter line up year after year after year... It gets boring.
Why not introduce an all new Lexus TS (Targa Sport) based on the Lotus Evora ? It has the Toyota 3.5 v6 under the hood..

Lexus CS Coupe based on the LS460 Chassis.. Here is the blueprint Lexus.

Expand the F lineup.. Where is the fun factor Lexus?

525hp V10 GS-F
414hp V8 RX-F
550hp V10 LS-F

Revise the steering units and suspension geometry across the entire line up.. Lexus has lost my business on this front along with its oh so conservative huffy stuffy grand daddy image. Unbutton the shirt collars and get loose Lexus.

I agree, definitely more sport is needed, and DSG trannys should completely replace all automatics. Sticks should also be avail in IS350, SC430 and GSxxx. There are several models I'd be interested in if they didn't have a slushbox.

Also, they should bring over the hybrid Estima or the Alphard as a Lexus - bring the luxury van movement here to wean people from their GX's and LX's

ES400h (with DI)

6MT IS and GS

Cylinder cut off technology across the line.

Direct inject 6 speed RX350.

I agree, Lexus shouldn't loose those features, but they should offer the choice to have a real sports suspension or a premium suspension. Be more like the German offerings where you can pretty much have a soft cushy ride if you want, or you can opt for the sports package. No need to have it one way or another. Give the customers both options.

I also would like to see more real fixed hard top coupes.

More coupes from Lexus to compete w/ others:

-SC> 6 Series> CL

-IS Coupe> 3 Series> CLK

-Lexus Roadster> Z4> SLK

-IS-F Coupe > M3 Coupe

*next gen SC should be a large coupe again so it can atleast look sporty w/ a long hood and small rear

Since Nissan is bringing back the "Silvia" in Infiniti trim to compete 1 series; why not Lexus follow suit?

Allow the flexibility with wood and leather trim options.
