Just another bulbous bloated whale of a sedan.

N O T F E E L I N G I T . Maybe it will look better in person. Somehow, I doubt it. And 300HP HP to just the front wheels? That will be some fun torque steer, unless they severly limit the torque in the engine, which means it will be quite a bit slower than the competition. Whatever. I won't be buying one.

Let's be fair, the car is covered in camo. It is impossible to make decisions on how this car will look like yet like this.

True, but the latest releases of some of the Acura\Honda line up isn't too pretty. Like the new TSX saw it for the first time the other day the rear reminded me of the 97-01 Camry.

I have a request for a TL-S review. That will be coming up, probably late next week.

Honda did pretty well well with only 286hp out of a fwd (heavy front end). 310hp with AWD should be interesting as long as they dont increase the weight too much.

I always thought the 1st gen TSX's rear was directly lifted off of the early 97-01 Camry.

Interesting. They really should have made push-button start standard for this new model. On my BMW it's a 500 dollar option which is ridiculous but kind of expected from the Germans... Acura has been good about including things that their competitors offer standard, as standard on their vehicles as well.

Will this use VCM like the Accord to run on 3/4 cylinders?

Yeah, I mean push button is standard on a $20,000 Altima.

Hm... and why would anyone in their right mind buy an RL over a TL SH-AWD?

The TL SH-AWD will likely be roomier, more powerful, cheaper and have similar features.

Yeah, kinda lame. However, I wasn't expecting anything better until after the debut of the NSX replacement and RL. The rumor is a DSG-type transmission. It will probably come out on the TL at the MMC. Honda already has a DSG transmission overseas so the technology know-how is already there. Acura went from a 4sp auto to a 5sp auto after only the first MY with the first gen TL so I don't see adding a new tranny at the MMC as something out of the ordinary for Acura. Now lets just hope that they actually do it.

??? I can pretty much guarantee you, the new TL will not be bigger than the new RL. I doubt it will even be bigger than the current RL.
