I think it's symbolic and reflective of Honda's philosophy regarding the market right now; it's scattered and lacks a clear sense of focus.
I actually don't mind a lot of buttons if they are in the right place. Perhaps its because my job for the last 15 years was literally pushing buttons I actually rather have a separate button for each function vs shared buttons that change function depending on what menu your are on. Anyway, compared to the last Gen TL, styling wise its a disappointment. The last one wowed the majority.

They have good voice recognition so you don't need most of them.
There isn't a single car in Acura's current lineup that could be called elegant. Hyundai's styling is far cleaner and classier in my opinion, and I would buy an Azera or Sonata before I bought a TSX or TL.
With all the info available today, Im surprised the car designs are what they are, unless this is like a bangle thing and they are gonna force a design on us that will eventually take over
