I definitely like the the old TL better. Is it me or does it looks bigger than the old one ?

 

Hate to break it to you, but that looks like it does have the nav.

 

Am I the only one that absolutely hates the interior? Same with the RL,and the new TSX interior.. and I hate that they are getting rid of touchscreen nav.

I hate the way the middle of the dash converges into this one big round button.. it just makes the dash look like a giant boob with a nipple.

What a disappointment in the interior . It looks like they took the Accord and TSX interior and combined the two together to get ... the new TL interior, with a bit of MDX interior thrown in there. Why does the upper part of the center dash stick out like that? It makes it the interior look even more disjointed than it should be. In fact, one can argue the Accord interior looks better than this.

As for the pics of the white model, this reinforces my earlier opinion; those front and rear overhangs are HUGE. The character line that goes through the fender "hump" and along the car's belt-line only makes the overhangs look even longer. A diagonal character line, or something similar to what the Accord has would have actually looked better. Oh wait, that would have made the new TL look even more like an Accord, as if the current similarities are not enough.

 

09 TL = 09 FX = FUGLY!

My reaction to this TL is the same I had when I saw the new Infiniti FX

Although the interior on the FX is better than the new TL, which is surprising.

Acura design is going down the toilet.

 

I'm not feeling this interior either. I like the RL interior, but not this one. The one thing I do like is the thickness of the steering wheel though.

 

I'll gladly take the accord's interior over this one. At least the accord's interior looks great for its class. The TL on the other hand...

 

Seriously, outside the optional SH-AWD, just get an Accord.

 

Okay...I think I am going to be the first (and hopefully don't regret this :/ )to not bash acura for its new redesign. I mean, I think we all had high expectations for the new TL, and it may not have met our expectations, but is it really that bad? Once I saw some actual photos, I thought there is definitely an edge to it and it looks unique IMO. I've looked at every car and have done tons of research, and am in the market to get the lexus gs in the next few months but this acura actually caught my eye. With a new grill, tinted windows, and some nice rims, it wouldn't look too bad...anyways I'm still looking to get the GS but haven't completely ruled out the TL. I know know you all think I'm crazy now...anyone out there see where I'm coming from??

 

I agree, aside from the grill i think it looks good. I bet the TL-S will look hot stock!

 

I was looking on the acurazine forums, and they even seem to not the new design as much as a fan boy should . Ive read and asked a lot of people what they think about the new design and guess what they said?
they plan to move to lexus or bmw before they buy another acura...
