nothing wrong with c63 at that price..... when m3 first came out, you were lucky to get it at msrp. most were sold for markup, some even at 30k over.

the c63 just came out and supply is still very low. get happy if you can get the car for msrp

I meant you can't not think about the C63 lol.

As someone already said, i'd get the F over the M3 sedan too.

Simple solution: go test drive both cars and see which one you like more.

M3 is a better handling car on the track
IS-F is pretty capable too and more than enough for daily driving
but since its for daily driving, Lexus reliability PWNS all!

My big problem with the IS-F is under 3500 rpms the car sounds like a mouse. It is easily the car that can ride in stealth mode and not be noticed but who wants that for 60+ thousand dollars? I don't understand these individuals who drove both the M3 and IS-F and chose the IS-F for reasons other than price and supposed reliability. You will spend more on maintenance for an IS-F than a M3. 4 years of paid maintenance are taken care of with the purchase of that car. Someone please give me another reason besides those two.

after 4 yrs (say 10 yr ownership), i have a feeling the is-f maintenance price is probably going to be lower. that's my take

and to be very honest? i wouldn't want my car to drone left and right when i am cruising, even if i were to get a sport car like that today. i want a car where when i am cruising, it's quiet. and then it screams when i floor it. that's perfect.

i have been thinking a sport car. i drove the e46 m3 and that car gives me a headache. cruising at freeway speed and the engine roar is so loud. i drove the e63, when cruising the engine is very quiet. only wakes up when i floor it. that's perfect

you don't need to understand other people, it's their choice.

And above 3500 the IS-F sounds like an lion. I prefer the exhaust note of the IS-F over the M3 at WOT.

You are right. In the short term, the maintenance costs of the M3 will be cheaper than the IS-F...can't beat free maintenance. For those who lease their cars, a big plus. But for those who purchase their cars and plan on keeping it for > 6 years, odds are the IS-F will be cheaper to maintain d/t Lexus reliability.

My sentiments exactly. That's what I prefer in a daily driver.
