Yeah 8-way helps, or at the minimum height adjustment.
Sitting in my friend's TSX is like sitting in a motorcycle sidecart. The seat is a LOT lower (as is typical with most Honda products) and he sits with the driver's seat raised so the height difference is quite noticeable. And we're the same height.

It takes me a little while to get used to the higher seat height.PS. The reason why I like the height adjustment is mostly for when I work on my car. If I'm removing the seats or just installing some A/V gear or whatever it makes working under the front seats much easier.
Maybe that is the key. I'm 5'4" but I like to sit on the floor almost. On all my cars that have height adjustable seats, I lower the seat all the way down. That is probably because I'm used to driving sports cars where the seats are real low. With those seats that are non height adjustable, sometimes it feels like I'm driving a truck

.But yeah, it's fun to move it up and down and try different positions every so often
