Toyota Sienna = the ultimate sleeper?
So my Aunt just bought a 2008 Sienna XLE and I had to borrow it today to move a piece of furniture. Ummmm...this thing is extremely fast for a minivan. I knew it got the 3.5L V6 for the '08 model year but this thing will pick up and go like no other minivan I know of. I went to merge onto the highway and it simply took off like a rocket and went up to 100MPH without a sweat.
So...maybe I'll take it out on a Friday night and go hunting for civics on Barett Parkway (for those of you who are familiar)

EDIT: I'm not kidding. This is BALLIN for a minivan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gadUoJnEzfs&NR=1

ok i have a 2004 Sienna with the 3.3 v6. its the same engine in my RX330 and i swear the Sienna feels a lot quicker.
i got the LE model, and let me just say, 220 horses for a practically empty minivan is enough. the car just goes when its just me, and i think its because its so light compared to my awd RX.
be careful about torque steer! its a real killer in this car.

The new-generation Toyota 3.5L is a real gem. Best-in-class in both power and efficiency. EVERY vehicle equipped with the 3.5L, with and without direction injection, is the fastest AND most fuel economical in its respective class. I foresee the 2GR-FSE to stay on Ward's 10Best list for a long long time to come.

Maybe it's time to upgrade. The Sienna though is my current favorite minivan.
