SO I FINALLY GOT A NEW CAR A JAGUAR S-TYPE R WHAT A BEAST 400hp THIS CAR IS AMAZING !
So I picked me up a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R with 66K miles, Black Metalic, Cream Interior, Bi-Xenons, Parktronic, Brembo Brakes,Touch Screen DVD Navi and with Jaguar Select Edition Warranty til 10/30/08, for $16500 Out The Door that including Taxes too. I wouldnt buy one of these cars without the warranty period. This car is really fast. Its a V8 Supercharged 400 HP car. I like the DVD Navi bc it talks to you too. It will take me some time getting use to my new Jag, since I a Benz guy and thats all I ever drive. Im only 22 btw. The car is really cool, the downside is the MPGs. Other than that this car is sick, and extremely rare more rare than AMG or M3. Dealer says they only seen 2 of them. I will post pics in the morning. This car is amazing, best bang for the price.

I bought it wholesale. I love the acceleration, this thing is quick. It drives very smooth not to mention. The best thing about this car is people looking at it. I called the dealer and they said its a rare car, and they only seen 2 in my area. This DVD nav is a treat too, still trying to operate the system. Much better system than Benz and BMW Navi which is non touch screen. It even talks to you also, and have voice recognition. I just love the supercharger screaming when taking off. This is my first Jag

Yeah Im getting 26 MPG Highway and 17-18 City. My Benz C230 was 32 Highway, 26 city. So thats the decrease with the V8 Supercharged 400Hp. Best MPG for a V8 Supercharged.

That is a hell of alot of car for $16500. It makes so much more sence to get a decent used luxury/performance car to me for under 25K then a brand new econobox at those prices or basic 4 door family car. Lets see a base civic or scion or chevy aveo for 16500 or a 400hp rwd luxury sedan loaded with luxury features and a joy to drive. I am kind of glad Infintis depreciate so much and that the new gen RLs can be had at very good prices because I see myself getting a used M35/45 or RL when I am ready to sell the Lexus as both are great cars. I hope everything works out with the car and don't get yourself in trouble with all that horsepower, also the more you beat on it the more expensive problems you are going to run into.

This was a 65K car brand new in 2003. But I bought this car for the great pricing and options too. I was considering a Benz an 03 C32 AMG Benz AMG with 44K Miles for 21K, non certified no warranty plus had to add $1200 on for tax. So I bought the Jag for the great pricing. 400hp is amazing. It took me one month to locate one I could steal it for a good price. $16500 incl tax is a steal especially since its certfied too. The options incl xenons, brembos, parktronic, dvd nav is way better options than the Benz plus less money. I dont have to worry about the depreciation hit either since I keep my cars only for about 6 months to avoid depreciation, I seen a few sell at retail price, even one with 96K miles for $14K. I guess its because its a rare car. I love its rarity. Best Luxury Car Bang for the Buck.

Congragulations. The S-Type Jag, R-model or not, was always a beautiful car. Reliability, though, may be a question mark.....you were wise to get the extended warranty. And UDel is correct......don't beat on it if you want it to last.
With the supercharger, even if Jag doesn't recommend synthetic oil in the Owners' Manual (which it probably does), you would be wise to use it. Superchargers create a lot of heat......not as much as turbos, but still enough to sometimes break down conventional oil.
And be ready to open your wallet keeping the gas tank filled. This car does use gas.
