The LS600hL is a fabulous looking car and IMHO the best looking flagship.

Do I detect a slight bias here?

Mostly European nameplates, with a few Japanese here and there.....no Korean or American-brand cars at all.
Despite its admittedly cheap build quality, the Ford Mustang, IMO, certainly deserves a place on that list.....it has dynamite looks if ANY car does.

Wow!!! Well done to the vehicles on the list. I agree with some of them more than others, and there definitely are some fine lookers on there.

It looks like they're only considering cars that have just come out. I wouldn't mind seeing the full rankings but it seems to me like there weren't really that many cars competing.

Why do the LS460 and LS600hL need to be 2 separate entries? Do the 2 cars really look all that different?

Love the new 500. A modern icon.

The new C-Class?? I don't think so. The 3 series looks better imo.

I'm surprised the Opel GT beat out the new Audi TT.

thetopdog, are you sure? The A4 is there. Is there a new A4? I thought it hasn't been redesigned in a while. (since it got the new grille and all)

Yeah, the Mercedes C-class has no business winning that medium sedan. It only won because of the "Mercedes" nameplate. The front end looks like someone took a knife and cut at a 45 degree angle all the way up to the hood. And the lights are just ugly... 3-series will turn heads better than the C-class any day of the week.

I'm not 100% sure, but that's what it seems like to me. I was wondering the same thing about the A4, but I know a new A4 is coming soon. It might even be out in Europe already. I'm not sure if the LS600hL is actually on the streets either?

The LS 600h and 600hL have been out in Europe for several months now.

For example, down the western coast, the Prince of Monaco took delivery of one in June.

I find C class more attractive than the 3 series (talking about the 4 door here)

What about the crossovers? The VW and Nissan entries - Tiguan and Qashqai are the first two in the industry to be TOTALLY unpronounceable. OK, I get it, the VeeDub is a cross between a tiger and an iguana. Not the two animals I would choose for my image - but to each his own. The Qashqai sounds like a Aztec or Mayan fertility god. I suspect it is it's own sacrifice to automotive art. That, or the sound produced when it slams head-on into a Tiguan.

Both have elevated the bar for flat-out ugly to new heights - then they were beaten with it. Who believes these refugees from the Trabant styling department are attractive? I rather doubt either will be offered in the US.

I don't agree with that list at all. How can a 1 series couple look better than a 3 series coupe?

I don't see the Jaguar XK on that list anywhere and it is one of the best looking cars on the road IMHO.
