2007 SEMA Show: Lexus To Roll Out Performance Accessories Range (UPDATED-Teasers)
I made a guess about this earlier, and looks like I was right! Very exciting news! This is exactly what Jim Farley was talking about in terms of offering a lot of customization for Lexus buyers.

There are going to be 9 project Lexus vehicles at SEMA, AND we now have official word that there will be a line of "F" performance accessories and parts. I think we're going to see some REAL performance parts. This is what a lot of Lexus enthusiasts have been waiting for, since the L-tuned parts from years ago were not very performance oriented.
I hope the GS430 is a typo, and I hope it's actually two GS460 models. GReddy and Blitz? Could we be seeing some superchargers or turbos for Lexus V8s?
The IS350 "concept" by TRD also sounds very interesting.
Also, I wonder if that video game might be GT5 Prologue?

LAS VEGAS — The rollout of its F-series models and performance accessories will showcase the first official appearance of the Lexus brand at the 2007 SEMA show. The premium marque's corporate parent, Toyota, is the official show sponsor.
The all-new performance accessory line will be announced at a press conference on October 30. The Lexus exhibit also will house the new IS-F sport sedan, which goes on sale in early 2008 and will be available for test-drives to SEMA attendees. Showgoers may choose to take a virtual test on one of three racing simulators and can pick up a CD with a specially designed video game featuring the IS-F.
Lexus is collaborating with a variety of aftermarket tuners to showcase nine project vehicles at SEMA. They include the IS-F by 5 Axis Models; the SC 430 by BRS Autodesign; two versions of the GS 430 by GReddy and Blitz; three versions of the LS 460 by VIP Auto Salon, Fesler Productions and CEC Wheels; and the RX 400h by 714 Motorsports in partnership with Momo USA. In addition, the display will feature the IS 350 concept by Toyota Racing Development.
What this means to you: Look for more Lexus go-fast goodies to hit the street in short order.

See...what did I tell you guys earlier.
Obviously things are coming to SEMA in a big way. Obviously I couldn't disclose it earlier this year, but big things coming!

Ok, very interesting and all, but something caught my attention. What's this IS350 by TRD concept?
I still have a deep loathing for TRD USA after the debacle with the Team Lexus IS350 race cars this year.

I am also still angry at TRD and Toyota after shutting down Team Lexus. I still hold some hope that they will redeem themselves by racing the IS-F.
Redemption of TRD USA for me, can only come if the keep their nose out of Lexus' racing programs or create a separate division for such activities, and do something truly useful like releasing a line of performance vehicles a la TRD Australia. Been waiting on the TRD X-Runner for 2 years now. Would like to see it actually come out. A TRD Tundra, Corolla wouldn't be anything bad either.
Good news because Lexus if FINALLY getting their head on right about the peoples desire for performance... Bad news because they are going to charge an arm and a leg because it "won't void your warranty."
Beyond the availability of part though will be the engagement of dealers. Most dealers it seems had never even heard of L-Tuned parts last time around. If Lexus is serious about this they need to do some major dealer training on both sales and service sides.

This is exciting news! I want a GS430 now!! In that case I also want a IS-F, and LS460, a RX400 and a SC430
