Question about leasing, please help!
 

On a $90-91k car with no money down and a mf of .00150 what should my payments be like??I am very new to this leasing.It will be for a 24 month lease with a residual of 70%.I am looking to strike the deal today if everything works out..Thanks!!!

Depending on your rates, sometimes leasing for 2-3 years and buying outright is cheaper overall than financing for 4-5 years. The interest on your lease is much lower than the typical finance interest rate is.

Take that xx,xxx that people typically down and invest it. Your return is often higher than your lease interest rate.

Thank you guys. I am currently looking at an 07' m5, since the money factor seems to be good?I am just going back and forth with the dealer about the cap cost. He doesnt want to budge. I am about ready to squash the deal.He keeps telling me about a 6% profit they need to make.He is getting ready to get 0%, if he keeps up!I am sure there are other dealers that will take my moola!

you are right about the money factor, that's VERY low for today's rate

The money factor is great. Make sure they didn't mark up anything else such as the bank/acquisition fee (or w/e Lexus calls it). Post ALL the numbers here, don't leave out any details.

They failed in finding a 07' m5 smg.I hope they can find one.They already dropped another $1500 on an 08' in stock but the money factor of .00325 is steering me away right now.They would have given the $1000 over invoice and the mf rate of .00150 if they had it.:cry:

man this is interesting, they have a hard time getting away m5, even 08? i thought people are lining up

They had a $97k 07' m5 on the showroom.Iwentin around 8pm, by 0800 am the car was gone.They had 8 m5's on the lot.All 08' models in white or black.Only 1 08' had smg with a msrp of $90,900.At first, they offered a $1500 discount. I said no.! hr later, they offered a $3k discount, I said no.I like the car but I'm not paying $1600-1800 a month for it.With the 07' the prices were ranging inthe low $1k area(very low).Oh well, it wasn't for me.On a side note, they would not budge on a 335i coupe! Price was set in stone!! Around $850-900 a month lease, ouch!!!!!! NO THANKS!!!! :eek2:

900 bucks for 335i is nuts! my friend just leased one (almost fully loaded) for around 550
