i dont feel like reading the whole thread but look on www.leasetrader.com

Plenty of 3 series between 350-450 with zero down for 20-30 months....Many other cars are good deals...

That's why I'm hesistant to say a 330i ZHP. All those neat sport mods......plus a raised 155mph limiter (oops I shouldn't have said that). Plus it's likely out of the OP's price range.

Join BMW Car Club of America. They offer a lot of low and higher-speed driving events where you can learn to be a far better driver. I'd do one of these myself if they allowed SAVs. There's also the BMW Performance Driving School down in Spartanburg, SC. But those can get rather pricey.

Hey, I see you in the x3 forums on bimmerfest I am there too, different screen name. To the sweet 16.. When you purchase a Bimmer, you get a business reply with pamphlets to join BMW Car Club of America The driving school in Spartanburg is about 700 bucks per I believe Mom or dad can pay for that if you really want to learn how to drive those machines..

Hmm wanna clue me in as to what sn you use?

Oh and there's loads of other benefits with BMW CCA: discounts on parts/accessories, the BMW events of course, and $500-1500 off a new or CPO BMW in the future including leases, though you must be a member for a full year at least.

You can also pick up your BMW at the Performance Centre in SC, and I think half a day (or full day, not sure) of instruction is included at no charge, along with one way airfare and one night's stay at Marriott. It's a shame many buyers never take advantage of this. Although there's no cost savings like European Delivery, it doesn't cost you any more to pick up in SC, provided you're willing to drive your new car back home!

Lexus ought to provide Japanese Delivery :P. Then again, I suppose navigating the alleys of Tokyo in a LS460 may not be ideal.......

I know you don't wanna hear this, but stick with your SC. You wont get a cheap insurance, since you're only 16, and guys your age in flashy sports cars are cop magnets.

Yeah. I've never had any problems with police in my Lexus or BMW X3. However, my friend in his white Civic Si hatchback (with a CF hood, go figure) gets trouble from the cops all the time. He even got pulled solely for lacking a front license plate. First and only time I've heard that happen.........I don't have front plates on the BMW or Lexus but I've had zilch issues.

You have plenty of room to speed in NC. I remember very clearly when I visited UNC Chapel Hill, there were practically zero cops and the speed limits were generous. Roads were wide open and flat too! The road pavement left something to be desired, but it's relatively uncongested and the flow of traffic is quick.

Of course: Always follow posted speed laws and regulations, and wear a seat belt. Phew glad I got that outta the way.
