I never liked the place where they mounted the spoiler (and the Eagle Talon) Looks gross right underneath the rear windshield.

i love it.

active aero, active exhaust, 4WS, 4WD, twin turbo, etc etc etc...and car is just an electronic nightmare waiting for something to break. Not to mention its a pretty much a Diamante, heavy, but damn those things look gorgeous when modded nicely.

Agreed. IMO, the Stealth has always looked better than the 3000. Unfortunately, they dropped it from poor sales......and perhaps because Mitsubishi, who built the car for Dodge on the same assembly line, was no longer willing to produce a Dodge version.

Bought a brand new 1992 GT VR-4 as a College graduation present to myself back then. Loved the car...instantly fell in love when I test drove one back in Norman OK. Car didn't lack *****, style, always got complement, ladies loved it especially when I'd have them pinned against the rear seat during an all out run to 100mph. Much quicker than my GS400. I'd recommend getting one.

Just busting your ***** on this... is your GS running okay?

1998 Lexus GS 400 0-60=5.8 1320 ft=14.3
1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 0-60=5.8 1320 ft=14.3
1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 0-60=5.3 1320 ft=14.0

Probably once the turbos are spooled, the VR4 runs like a raped-ape.
From a 10 mph roll-on, a GS4 might have an advantage.

I previously owned a 92 NA 3000GT, also known as the Mitsubishi GTO
FWD is the greatest but even the NA engine performs well enough. I know they came out with a another engine around 97 that made only 161 or so Hp, other 222Hp. I owned for about 2 yrs, with little repairs, a clutch window motor, new battery, that was it. The VR-4 is definitely harder to maintain. I friend of mine owned a 97 VR-4 and was like a Rocket ship. Handled like on Rails. Amazing ride and Performance. Few Mods will make the TT engine Really Shine.
Dont plain on doing much work on the engine yourself, even the NA engine bay is cramped.
Overall I was very satisfied even with just the NA engine. 0-60 was good, Highway Drags is where she shines.
3SX makes good parts for the GT. I was the first to purchase there mandrel bent downpipe cause mine leaked and was LOUD.
Even today they still look sleek Wide and sexy.
Its true Girls love this car.
Many Races were won even against a 98 M3
Not bad for a NA Heavy 3200lb car
But I do agree that the older Supra is a nice pick as well.
Not as sleek looking, but the performance made up for it
