Default Car Sponsonship

So I got a call today from a lady at carsponsorships.com who says that she has some full and partial sponsorships available for me. I talked to her at HIN here in Chicago an she called me today and left a message about some sponsorship opportunities. I was just wondering if any of you have had any experience with carsponsorships.com or sponsors in general that might help me?

ehh, i have an issue with giving someone $50 of my hard-earned cash just to see if they MIGHT have something for me that may or may not even be worth $50.

Sponserships are more trouble then they are worth with most companys. They ones to get is cheap labor and work at shops just to say you will show off there work. So your not really obligated to much, except show off the work...

You should only go into a sponsorship if you know the guy genuinly enough to trust them. Like the owner of the worksop or something. If your freinds with him/her for some time, and they see the potential your car has, well that's when you know you should go for it.

Thanks for the info so far. Well i dont have to pay the 89 dollars unless they get me sponsorships, she said there were full sponsorships available, but i am abit unfamiliar with how the whole thing works. it sounds enticing, but i dont really want too much problems. My main problem is, is that i live in the south side of chicago/northwest indiana area so there isn't much around here that i know of involving the auto scene except a few older guys with muscle cars and a few rich kids with srt4 neons and fox body mustangs. This sounded like a good way to get some connections.

It all depends on your car if they like it or not .They were going to use my old car before for their HIN BOOTH but then i told them that i sold my car so they decide to use my friends car instead, so they send him a set of wheels & tires,Sound System,Bigbrake,HID and NX Express . which is not too bad for $80 bucks. I would say if you car is not moded looks wise Dont even bother cause they will take your $80 bucks and send you a Bunch of discount coupon.

its a one time fee for the first sponsorship whether partial or full, then hopefully you get enough 'free' stuff to offset the fee
