Smile My new toy

I decided to get a hybrid, and purchased this when I saw the blizzard pearl paint. The car was made in Kentucky, and the dash trim prevents the CD-Changer from opening.

The driving fun comes from getting good mileage.

Congrats!

I'm thinking about the Camry hybrid as well. My IS350 is not the best commuter car here in L.A...

Congrats on the Camry Hybrid. Its the most fuel economical midsize sedan on the market I think(not sure about diesels?)I would like to get one as well but I may wait for the '08's. I hope you're Camry is a good one that will not exhibit any of the transmission problems that some have experienced. Keep us posted & again congratulations.

Your nav screen won't open to let you load discs?

Check out toyotanation.com for a writeup on how to install an eclipse reverse camera. I just did it on Saturday and my wife loves it. It is hard to judge where the rear bumper is since the rear deck is so high.

I'm generally not a fan of hybrids, but I'll say congragulations and good luck with it .

Do you feel that the car's power and gas mileage, to date ( both should improve with break-in ) is worth the extra cost of the Hybrid package?

It's too early to say that the package is worth it in terms of fuel savings. I could have purchased a nice V6 XLE or SE for the same or less money, and I am sure that the V6 would be more rewarding to drive in the traditional sense.

I didn't buy it to save money. I already have a beautiful Audi sedan. I just wanted a Hybrid, and I wanted to see what mileage I could achieve. The low emissions are a plus.

I take back my hopes that your transmission will be reliable.. I had forgotten that the Camry Hybrid uses a CVT instead of a traditional transmission so u will need no luck @ all (: since there have been 0 reported problems w/ the CVT
