Bugatti Veyron DRIVEN hard

Call it abuse if you will, but this thing was really driven hard. Check out the brakes. This is one extremely impressive VW....I mean Bugatti.

ah ive been looking for veyron track video for a while
so the veyron can actually handle ok on the track eh
crappy track video though
bugatti needs to let tpo gear have it a go on their track

i wonder why this car doesnt have carbon ceramic brakes

isnt it easy to outsource to some other company that makes carbon ceramic rotors and pads?
or buy them from brembo?

or does porsche not let brembo sell CC to VW as well?

I doubt it handles nearly as well as the F1.

that's what i think as well. the f1 will probably still outrun the veyron. it shows how incredible the f1 is!

I got see a Veyron in person down here just once at a car show and was forunate watch it take off on a street just in front of the convention center. Beautiful car.

F1 is much lighter than veyron right?

iirc when Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear was doting on the Veyron he mentioned that it was so revolutionary that you could let the F1 start and get to 120 (or 150mph) and THEN let the Veyron start and the Veyron would beat it up to 200.

says that the Veyron uses 400mm/380mm Carbon Ceramic rotors with an 8/6piston setup for the calipers.

damn thing is a PIG, weighs freaking ~1900kg

thats ~4,189 lbs....

to give u comparison, my '99 LS400 weighs ~3,890lbs...

im sure F1 can beat veyron on a track with that veyron's piggish weight

theres gotta be a reason why Bugatti wont let top gear have it on their track for the lap time count
Koeningsegg CCX has got to be much faster than bugatti when u have to handle on a track
