New ride at the office: Fisker Tramonto (pics)
Thought I'd share a few photos of a car we have here at the office,
on loan from our friends at Fisker Coachbuild. It's car 000 of 150 based
on the Mercedes SL55 - rebodied in carbon fiber.
The interior has also been reworked- yes, it's basically pumpkin orange
inside! It also has the full Kleemann package, brakes, lowering module,
and supercharger upgrade. This beast makes 610 hp... honestly one of
the fastest cars I've ever driven! This is the first Tramonto ever built,
and although it's been ragged-on a bit, the basic bodywork and mechanical
bits are well-sorted.
The only lackluster item in the vehicle is the audio system, which is
standard fare Mercedes.
I've set the Fisker guys up with the guys at Boston/MacIntosh;
they offer a great integrated audio upgrade for the SL.
It will be an extra-cost item, of course.
BTW, the car has 20x9 (4" lip) front and 20x12 (6" lip) rear wheels on it.
255/30-20 front & 325/25-20 rear. It can still spin them...
It's definitely a head-turner, even here in car-crazy Southern California!
With the Kleemann upgrades, this car lists for $300K.
