Fixed Or Repaired Daily, to bad this one was sent to such an automobile icon.

Lexus Test Driver
Man, that really blows for Ford I am a big Ford fan and when I owned domestic cars, I owned Fords. If I could have only one Ford it would be a GT. But what bad press for that car. I haven't heard those kind of problems with the GT here in the states. Maybe it was some unique modifications that had to make to the car for the UK? Pretty bad press but it appeared Jeremy really, really loves that car to deal with all those problems

Lexus Test Driver
Clarkson has said that the car itself is fine---it's that the anti-theft device and everything that was put on the car by Ford UK has gone terribly wrong. like the trickle charger for the battery, for instance.

toy4two: that's what I heard as well.
Also: Clarkson is incredibly hard on US Cars -- not just from a critical standpoint, but mechanically as well. Saleen will most likely NEVER give him a car to test drive for this very reason... S281-SC, S7 or otherwise.
He's make fun of it, calling it a stupid American car that lacks the fine touch of British engineers, and then proceed to make the clutch smoke in a similiar fashion to what he did to the SRT-10 (Viper) in an episode.
That's not to say I don't love top gear. It's a great show, awesome cinematography, cars and scripting. It's just a British production, and one that oozes British pride.
That all being said, I can't wait for the next season -- it's coming in January
