Posted on Tuesday 19 December 2006 Gemballa has made its name building high-power modified Porsches and their most expensive piece of work is the Mirage GT, based on the now discontinued Carrera GT supercar. As the name suggests, the Black Edition is a variant of Gemballas standard Mirage GT and comes with a bodykit, power options, wheels, and interior modifications. Power is up by only 30-40hp over the 612hp found in the standard Carrera GT, and this is significantly less than the 750hp youll find in the Mirage GT. Despite this, the car weighs less because of a carbon fibre bodykit. Whats new is a wheel set with 19 alloys in the front, and 20 in the back, both shod with massive tyres. Inside, you get swathes of Alcantara and carbon fibre, plus a high-tech LCD information and stereo system. You can also option additional driving lights and a rear-view camera system.
