Here is some advance information on the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, for those of you planning to go.

I probably will not be there. As usual, I will spend at least 3-4 days at the Washington, DC Auto Show, which starts just after the Detroit Show closes its doors.

I'll post the D.C. show information shortly.






2007 Detroit Auto Show

When: Media preview, Jan. 7-11. Public show, Jan. 13-21

Charity Preview: 6-9 p.m. Jan. 12. Admission: $400. Order tickets online or call (888) 838-7500.

Where: Cobo Center, Detroit. Map, directions

Hours:

Jan. 13-20: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (no admittance after 9 p.m.)
Jan. 21: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (no admittance after 6 p.m.)
Ticket information:

Adult: $12
Senior Citizen: $6 (65 and older)
Children 7-12: $6
Children 6 and under: Free with parent
Group discount: $8 per ticket for purchases of 25 tickets or more. Order here.
