Cadillac is expected to introduce a coupe variant of it's next generation CTS, with likely a more powerful variant of the current 3.6 V6 & an available 6 speed auto transmission. The sedan is believed to be unveiled at next January's NAIAC, & hitting the showrooms as a 2008 model, with the 2-door version likely a 2009 model.

If the interior is anything like the all new 2008 CTS (which it almost certainly will be), you guys will probably be very impressed.

It new Caddy CTS interior, IMO, hands-down surpasses any of the european competition as well as the Infiniti G.. I'd hold it about on-par with the current IS and TL interior. Granted, it's about 2-3 years late to the party, but that's better than nothing.

The current CTS interior makes me.

 

Art and Science is poop in my book. The interiors got rid of it, I can't wait till the exteriors do the same.

The front and rear look....well....just like every other Cadillac. I think this is a bad thing if you want to try to diversify your product line.

The greehouse treatment looks really cheap and simplistic. They need to dress it up a lot more of they want to draw in people who usually buy coupes because they look more aggressive than sedans.

Someone needs to wake up the design crew over at Cadillac. I think people get the straight and hard lines perspective. Enough already.

 

This is only some fools drawing/CGI of what they think the CTS coupe will look like.

Judging from seeing the new CTS in camo and featured on that 60 minutes special earlier this year, I think the 2nd gen CTS will look stunning (along with this so called CTC).

ANd yea, I really cant buy into the sporty Cadillac thing either. I have flashbacks of the Fleetwood everytime that I hear someone mention Caddy.
