Default Build to Port time?

I have gotten confirmation on the completion of my car, can someone tell me how long it takes to arrive in the US? It will be coming to the port on the east coast (Florida I believe?).

Ordered mine in the last week of June as well, have not, and do not expect to get confirmation of completion of the car, but it is scheduled to arrive at the dealer at 25 November , then again I live in Europe, maybe that would give you a bit more hope for a quick delivery! Good luck....

That's not bad, in fact, it's right on time... It takes 4 months to get the car... Now that your car has been built and is shipping, you should have it in a few weeks. (2-3 weeks transit time) So, Late June to Late October = 4 months

it's not on time... i ordered it in time to be among the last of the 06's. when i placed my order lexus wasn't backed up 4 months like they were (and now backed up 6 months) but either way it doesn't really matter. what annoys me more is the lack of intelligence by the salesman. he seemed to know a lot when it came time for me to place the order, but after that point he turned dumber than a brick.

From what I know, lexus is not "backed up" at all, nor have they ever been. Nor are special orders taking "6 months" now.

A special order takes 4 months, period. Doesn't matter if you ordered the very last 2006 they built or the very first 2007. And since I see you got Sport + ML/NAV I assume it must be a special order.

How long were you expecting it to take?

The way I see it, there are four waiting times to consider:

Shortest: Pick out a car that’s on the lot. Just fill out the paperwork and drive off. This should take about an hour.

Second Shortest: The car you want is at another dealer and your dealer agrees to a swap. Your car should be available in two hours or less, depending on how far the other dealer is.

Average: Ask a salesman to check what’s coming in. He has a list. If there’s one you like, reserve it. You should get your car in about three weeks or less.

Longest: If you initiate a special order, they must start from scratch in the manufacturing process. This is the one that can take four months.
