The first images of BMW’s new M6 Cabriolet have surfaced online. The car is not expected to be officially unveiled until July, but this leak could prompt an early release of further details. The car is powered by the same 500 hp V10 engine that propels the BMW M5 and the M6 Coupe. We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.

M6 coupe is such a beauty. This cabriolet, however, isn't quite a beauty. I think it's ugly with the soft top.

I agree, I always like the coupe a lot more, the soft top with the roof up does not work well with any convertibles.

Im the opposite. Like the Convertible a lot more. Actually the same thing goes for the Z4 M too. The hardtop versions of these cars add way to many unnecessary lines and curves IMO.

I wonder why they used the same engine as the M5.

Beautiful car though.

lol, why don't they try to put up that wind screen window in the back? i think that's more than enough to completely destroy the car. and without it, have fun with all the wind

the car is too long to be a convertible. The rear stretches the porportinos too much.

Looks beautiful but I really think they should've done a little more to separate it from the 650i

just like Car and Driver said, these cars look like they were involved in an accident before they leave the factory. cant argue the performance tho (if youre going straight anyway).
