HUETTISHEIM, Germany — Richard Hamann has been fiddling with BMWs and other fast cars for 20 years at his shop outside Ulm, gradually expanding into high-performance options for Porsche, Mercedes, Mini, Lamborghini, Range Rover and even Rolls-Royce.

His latest effort involves the breathtakingly beautiful Ferrari F430 Spider. Hamann has only lightly tweaked the two-seater, further enhancing the car's inherent good looks.

An aero kit includes front spoiler, side sills, rear wing, rear diffuser and air dams and can be ordered in fiberglass or carbon/Kevlar.

Hamann also provides a sport suspension kit with lowered springs and upgraded performance brakes. Custom alloy wheels come in 19- and 20-inch sizes.

Customers can complete the package with a stainless steel Hamann exhaust system and a customized interior, including carbon/Kevlar door sills engraved with the Hamann logo engraved in silver.
