They say the passenger compartment was completely intact.

Looking at the photo, I don't see an inch of open space in there.

Thats funny, cause I was thinking the same thing(the WRX crash)

WRX's are made so strong there is actually a bulletin out to Firefighters nationwide how the Jaws of Life will not cut into the passanger compartment, too strong! So it doesn't surprise me the WRX driver walked away.

If you see the bulletin they show a cross section of the WRX pillars, there is huge metal tubes in the pillars you can't cut!
