I dont knwo about that - but i havent seen the new ES in person just like eveyrone else...

however i can honestly say the new LS front is epitome of beauty. And i have seen it in person twice

It should be, the new Avalon was at 280 hp at launch, but revised to 268 later, so I think they want to give the Lexus ES a little more . . .

The front looks like a corolla. But Lexus finally has done its steering wheel design right. The contour looks great. And if it's aluminum finish like BMW's.... droolin**

They've fixed those ratings by now, this figure is according to the new standard. The 06' ES is rated to 218 h.p., down from 225 h.p. under the old system.

If thats true...then the 275HP rating thats given in the magazine is not after SAE ratings. Because in the magaizne it says... 3.5 L V6 275HP, up 50HP from the model it replaces.

The interior shots looks pretty nice. I can't really judge the exterior until I see it in person though. As for 275 HP, is that a good thing or bad thing? Many here on Club Lexus thought the HP in the Acura TL was too powerful for a FWD vehicle. 275HP SAE is more than that in the TL, so is this too much HP for the FWD ES350?
