I keep saying to myself that I will never buy a brand new American car again.

But these Chargers, and especially the new Challenger when/if it comes out are really sexy. But when I think back to my past Ford and Chevy experiences, I don't have much choice.

As a Mopar muscle car fan and owner I agree the classic nameplates should not be used so loosely EXCEPT the new Challenger that is very close to the original design, compare the concept to my friend's '71 convertible along with my '68 Dodge convertible, sorry for the low quality pics.

I'm really not into Muscle Cars and all that(part of that has to do with my young age, unfortunately way b4 my time), but the previous Chargers, Superbees, Dodge COnvertibles, Roadrunners posted here are all BADAZZ. Those were some really mean cars. to yall if you owned one back in the day(or still do) and if you are really enthusiastic about these vehicles.

Yes, they were BADAZZ........on a straight road. With the exception of the Corvette Sting Ray and Shelby AC Cobra, they were primarily dragsters and little else. Still, the Road Runner's bird graphics and horn were neat, and I would consider a new retro one today if they would just build it. They already have the Charger / Magnum platform for it....or they could use the smaller Challenger 2-door platform.
