Default What can you HEMI?

http://www.whatcanyouhemi.com/

Saw this on the MotorWeek show last night.

Hella Funny!

Hemi powered paper shredder or better yet 500 horsepower snow-blower!

I'm thinking a HEMI Vacuum Cleaner or maybe a HEMI Blender.
Or how about a HEMI powered Garage Door Opener

Yea I think we had a thread about this sometime last year. There was a lawnmower and some other redulous stuff. I cant believe this event is still going on. Its all marketing. They sure are pushing that engine.

Hemi is such a crap engine, the only thing I'd power with it is a dodge.

I wouldn't call it a crap engine by any means. I reviewed a 340 HP version in a Magnum R/T.....gobs of torque, smooth and quiet by muscle car standards, and a fuel shut-off feature to one bank of 4 cylinders under cruise low-power conditons to save fuel.

I don't know... My parents have that hemi in their grand cherokee, the most unsmooth, noisy engine I've seen in recent years. Just as bad as GM pushrods.

Like I said, relatively smooth and quiet by muscle-car standards....it's not going to be like a Town Car or an LS430. Detroit, unfortunately, tends to put loud mufflers on purpose-built muscle engines like this one, harkening back to the days ( you may be too young to recall them ) of deep-burble Glasspack and Thrush exhaust systems and semi-race, high-lift camshafts that made the engine shake at idle.
